BLOOMTOWN FESTIVAL

Bloomtown will be a one day festival showcasing the incredible work of independent coffee roasters, baristas and shops on Saturday May 16th 2026.

Featuring a roasters hall, cafe bar, cupping room and more in the iconic Rose Lipman building in De Beauvoir, Hackney, London

Guided tasting session with Waypoint Labs

We are hosting our first ever tasting event with our roastery brand, Waypoint.

The founder, green buyer, and roaster will walk you through behind the scenes of creating the Waypoint sets, give you an in-depth walkthrough of the coffees included in set 003, the physical green quality analysis and roasting process, why it all matters and how it influences what you taste.

Each person will have their own individual 5 bowls to eliminate sharing and moving around the cupping table, so when we are tasting each of the coffees it is easy to compare and contrast each one as part of the guiding tasting.

New Coffee Roasters Cupping

Seven of the UK's newest coffee roasters are assembling for one night only to chat about their brands, ideas, visions and what makes them different, as well as showcasing a range of their coffees for you to taste and enjoy.

Thinking about starting your own coffee roasting company, want to suport small and new businesses, or just love coffee? This is the place to be on Thursday 9th April at 6pm!

Each coffee roaster will be giving a short introduction on themselves and their business, highlighting the ideas behind the brand, what they want to achieve and what they are doing to be different.

Moderator: Jessica Worden, GAIL's.
Panellists: Tom Greensmith, CRU Cafe; Neil Maguire, Slow Forest; Greg Amann, Minor Figures; Freda Yuan, Origin Coffee.

All guests are warmly invited to stay after the panel for refreshments, generously provided by Caravan and AQUAPHOR, and an opportunity to network.
